The Cameroonian Youth Association of Calgary is hosting the very first National Youth Convention Canada. An event to bring together Young Adult Cameroonians (ages 18 -35) across Canada and North America for a 3 day event filled with activities to help bridge the gap that exists between our brothers and sisters in North America, Unlocking doors for networking, connecting etc.
Event Schedule:
FRIDAY, MAY 22
Meet & Greet (6 PM – 7 PM): Kick off the weekend by connecting with young Cameroonians from across Canada.
Movie Screening (7 PM – 8 PM): Experience an emotional, community-centered immigrant film acted by members of CYAC exploring sacrifice, integration, belonging, and resilience. Film Title; Mbenguiste
Afterparty (11 PM – late): Close the night with music, dancing, and good vibes.
SATURDAY, MAY 23
Camyouth Conference (12 PM – 4 PM):Network with Young Cameroonian industry professionals and gain insights from successful mentors across Canada.
National Camyouth Soccer Tournament (6 PM – 9 PM): Watch Cameroonian Youth Associations across Canada battle it out on the field for the championship cup. With our Cookout Sessions with multiple competitive games like Egg-race, Bag-race, Tug of War and many more
SUNDAY, MAY 24
Pool Party (11 AM – 2 PM): Exclusive to guests with hotel accommodation packages – relax, mingle, and enjoy the vibes.
Red Carpet Gala & Fundraiser (6 PM – 2 AM):The grand finale featuring Cameroonian cuisine, fashion, art displays, and a glamorous night of celebration.
